DIKTYO

Merimna Paidiou Katerinis has been a member of DIKTYO since December 9, 2019, which is a nationwide network of organizations providing services to people with chronic mental, developmental, psychological, and sensory disabilities. The aim of DIKTYO is to promote issues related to people with disabilities to the State as well as to the public.

As a legal entity with a scientific character, it operates under the auspices of EASPD (European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities), which currently represents over 15,000 support services for people with disabilities and their families across Europe.

The Association’s primary goal is to foster collaboration between organizations that provide services to people with disabilities in order to develop and promote scientific and evidence-based methods for development, education, and rehabilitation. Additionally, it aims to organize and represent the sector of professional support services in Greece, which is an essential pillar for the autonomy of people with disabilities, in cooperation and interaction with them and their families.
